TV and Film Costume Designer

Sheila Fitzpatrick is a Toronto-based Costume Designer with twenty six years in the film and television industry. Born in Ireland, Sheila relocated to Toronto to study costume design, fashion illustration and art direction at Ryerson University, George Brown College, Ontario College of Art & Design, and notably under legendary costume designer Martha Mann at Toronto’s Academy of Art and Design.

Beyond Canada, Sheila was worked on location in London, Cairo, Malta, Iceland and Colombia, and with stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Tim Roth, Nick Nolte,Andie MacDowell, Stellan Skarsgard, Jon Voight, Patricia Clarkson, Dan Akryod and Olivia Newton-John, to name a few.

Sheila designed all seven seasons of Catherine Reitman’s hit series Workin’ Moms, and six seasons of Degrassi: Next Class.  She was part of the stellar creative teams behind Cairo Time, Frankie Drake Mysteries and the Emmy-nominated series Station Eleven.

Sheila received an Emmy nomination for her work on Feast of All Saints (2002), and was nominated for the Ontario Arts Foundation’s Virginia and Myrtle Cooper Award for Costume Design on Degrassi: Next Class (2014).
